Mies is a Floor lamp released by Iskandar Degouis. Its design was inspired by the structural columns designed
by the architect Mies van der Rohe for the “German Pavilion” for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona.

Mies is an indoor floor lamp made out of two laser-cut 5mm raw aluminium sheets, sanded and waxed by hand – each step is made in Belgium.
On top of the aluminium base structure, sits the globe bulb made out of matte white opal glass. It uses “LED technology” which with normal use, allows the bulb to last for many years.
